Ciao! I am Silvia Soncin :)
I live and work in Northern Italy, between Lake Maggiore and Swiss.
I love drawing and playing with my watercolours, but my art is created with both traditional and digital techniques. I draw inspiration from everything, from the nature that surrounds me and especially from my daily life with a lively little girl!
Whilst trying to maintain my personal style, I regularly attend courses to broaden my knowledge and keep up with trends. Anyway, my Art Diploma and a Degree in Costume and Fashion (with a thesis in Textile Design) provide a solid foundation for the technical and creative aspects of my work.
Although mainly created digitally to make my patterns, my style is reminiscent of mixed media art for a warmer and more personal feel.
As a lover of decoration in general, my mission is to make everyday objects more beautiful through my work, which aims to be 'nice but not cloying'.
